The Historic and Botanic Garden Bursary Scheme enables enthusiastic and committed horticulturalists to increase their horticultural and other technical skills through practically based training placements, in a range of historic and botanic gardens. With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a partnership of world-class organisations, the HBGBS is offering a range of unparalleled opportunities within the UK from now until 2010.
Over a period of four years, more than 1,000 learning opportunities, from a single day to a year, will be offered thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and a partnership of world-class organisations including: English Heritage, the Royal Horticultural Society, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, the Royal Botanical Gardens of Edinburgh and the National Trust.
