Trainees hosted at English Heritage gardens, including two HBGBS trainees and a Professional Gardener's Guild (PGG) trainee, took part in  a three day conference in Bedfordshire. Visits were made to the Swiss Garden, Wrest Park and Hatfield House.

 Trainees came from Wrest Park (Jo Huckvale, Petra Brigden and Mathew Parker), Osbourne House (Jonothan Quirk, PGG), Audley End (James Hobbs) and Gemma Sturges), Down House (Ellen Creaser) and Walmer Castle (Brian Addison).
