Veteran Tree Management
Perspectives on habitat and risk management:
A series of three one-day seminars by
Neville Fay & Ted Green
This series of one day courses will provide a good understanding of the management issues surrounding veteran and ancient trees found in historic garden sites. The morning will be spent indoors looking at illustrations and case studies. The afternoon will be spent outdoors looking at the mature trees on site and discussing issues surrounding their biodiversity value and management. This course should appeal to all garden staff managing veteran and ancient trees.
A registration fee of £25 will be payable on confirmation of a place (cheques made payable to 'English Heritage'). HBGBS bursary funding is available to support your attendance. Please note: Refreshments will be provided but in order to keep the costs of this event down we would advise you to bring your own packed lunch.
